so bigTake up to two hours for yourself to work out, take a class, or just relax, while your child is in the care of a YMCA Child Watch Team Member. This is a free babysitting service for our members who have family memberships, enabling parents to use our YMCA facilities unrestricted. For the well-being of the children, each family membership unit is limited to 2 hours per day in the Child Watch facility. Children are signed in and out of the Child Watch, and parents are required to remain in the YMCA facility when their children are attending Child Watch.

Visitor

Travelling out of town? Your exercise routine can be uninterrupted by using one of the 2,600 Ys located throughout the United States.

The AWAY Program is based on our philosophy that we are a nationwide family — a family that supports reciprocity and believes in the mission, the character values, and the collective YMCA cause that strengthens the foundations of community. As a member of the Y, you have access to participating Y’s in other cities.

When you are away from home, you will be welcomed and treated as a member by other YMCA’s in the country as long as that YMCA participates in the AWAY Program.

An AWAY notification is placed on your membership card, and when you present the card to a participating YMCA, you are permitted the use of the facility for no fee or a very nominal guest fee.  To find a participating YMCA anywhere in the country, call 888-333-YMCA or go online to www.ymca.net and click on Find Your Y. Remember to bring your membership card with you!

The Wabash County YMCA’s AWAY policy is that any person who is a member of another YMCA and is not a regional member will receive three free visits per calendar year and half of the current day pass rate as follows:

Child (18 and under): $5.00
Adult: $10.00
Family: $18.00

Active military are always invited to workout at no charge!

If you're an employer facing rising health insurance rates, and like most businesses, trying to do more work with a smaller workforce, you know that keeping employees healthy and at work is critical to your company's success.

KEEPING OUR PROMISE

The Wabash County YMCA keeps our promise to serve the community by making our programs, services and facilities available to everyone, regardless of their ability to pay. The Y's Financial Assistance Program brings this commitment to life. Individual and corporate contributions, coupled with proceeds from the Community Support Campaign, make financial assistance possible for people who need it.

Because of the Y's Financial Assistance Program, a family in need gains peace of mind knowing that their child is safe under our care, teens interact with and receive support from caring mentors and individuals, and families receive needed social services. The Wabash County YMCA's Financial Assistance Program subsidizes YMCA membership and program services on a needs-based sliding scale, based on family size and income. The Financial Assistance Program is easy and confidential; simply complete the application form below, and contact/visit us.

You can download the confidential application for financial assistance here, or you can pick up the necessary form at Member Services.  Everyone deserves a membership to the Y.
