Are you a runner? Do you want to start running? Either way, this is a group for you! The Wabash County YMCA Running Club meets every Tuesday at 5:30 pm in the Y lobby, and is for runners of all ages and levels. Follow our Running Club on Facebook!  Click here

 

Join and discover the fun of running outside with a group of other runners of all abilities. Share running experiences, learn stretching tips and techniques, and hear about races in our area. No registration is required - just bring your running shoes!

 

The Wabash County YMCA strives to promote continuing active lifestyles through our Adult Aquatics Programs. 

man women swimWater provides the most balanced environment for exercise; it is three-dimensional! The fluid resistance allows flexibility, toning and muscular strength, while challenging the cardiovascular system.
We offer both open swim sessions and various swim classes for all abilities, ranging from very low impact to high intensity. Your ability level doesn't matter - we will tailor our programs to meet your needs!

Women LungingThe Wabash County YMCA has assembled a fabulous collection of classes with emphasis on satisfying older adults’ interests, meeting their needs and using their abilities. With classes designed specifically for older adults, we give participants an opportunity to stay physically active or, in some cases, to overcome their fear of exercise and begin being physically active.

Y Active Older Adult fitness programs accommodate a wide variety of interests and functional abilities of older adults. Active Older Adults classes can include Gentle Yoga, Zumba Gold, Dancing with Kat, and SilverSneakers classes for land and water.  

Please check our latest Group Exercise schedule for days and times which are most convenient for you as not all classes are offered each month.
