The Wabash County YMCA keeps our promise to serve the community by making our programs, services and facilities available to everyone, regardless of their ability to pay. The Y's Financial Assistance Program brings this commitment to life. Donations from individuals and businesses, coupled with proceeds from the Community Support Campaign, make financial assistance possible for people who need it.

Because of the Y's Financial Assistance Program, a family in need gains peace of mind knowing that their child is safe under our care, teens interact with and receive support from caring mentors and individuals, and families receive needed social services. The Wabash County YMCA's Financial Assistance Program subsidizes YMCA membership and program services on a needs-based sliding scale, based on family size and income. The Financial Assistance Program is easy and confidential; simply complete the application form below, and contact/visit us. Be sure to bring in proof of income to make the process as efficient as possible.
You can download the confidential application for financial assistance here, or you can pick up the necessary form at Member Services. Everyone deserves a membership to the Y.
The Wabash County YMCA will issue refunds or credit vouchers if and only if we must cancel a program. If participants have a medical exemption or is dissatisfied with the program, we will issue a credit voucher. Sorry, no prorates are granted after a program has started. Please be advised that requests for a program credit or refund are subject to the approval of the department head of the CEO. Membership fees are non-transferable and non-refundable.
